Since beginning my aviation career in 2005, I have been driven to become a pilot known for high standards and commitment to professional piloting and continuous professional development.
My journey in obtaining both my Grade 1 Helicopter Flight Instructor Rating and Designated Flight Examiner (DFE 1) accreditation was a long and challenging one marked by numerous obstacles, lessons and well-earned experience. From my first flight in an R22 helicopter in Capetown to my first flgiht in an A109 in Durban serving Portnet.
In 2025, I achieved these professional milestones, fulfilling a goal that had guided much of my aviation career. Today, my focus is on giving back to the industry by sharing that experience with the next generation of pilots, promoting professionalism and upholing the integrity of flight standards within South Africa.
